Flight Review: ANA Business Class, Flying from Tokyo (Narita) to Singapore / Luxury Travel

Sooo… 8 hour flight? You put the distance but no times. I was curious enough to look it up online. Looks like the price is $2,289 for a single ticket business class for ANA ($4,571 for two) for a round trip, JAL is even more expensive. I was going to ask what the difference is between Business and First class, but it seems they are the same. If it wasn’t a package deal, it looks like a cheaper flight might be one with a two hour stop-over at Manila with Philippine Airlines or Malaysia Airlines (really, almost half the price of a ANA round trip ticket).

Since it was a package deal with the Cruise line, let me guess… 7 day cruise, round trip airfare, two people… with your travel tastes, $6-8 thousand US total cost. And what I mean by travel taste is… you are not taking economy cabins or obviously flying economy. My original guess would be $8-10k, but that defeats the idea of ‘package deal’. The whole point of a package deal is to save money. So I am interested in how close I come to the actual price.

Very sweet of you to take your Mother on a trip to Southeast Asia on a cruise ship, I am looking forward to seeing that video.

Thank You Anna! I hope you are well with all the heat in the day. Take care of yourself, it sneaks up on you quickly. The shot in the beginning of the airport view was very tranquil, I could have looked at it longer and found my Zen. The business class looked pretty nice with the seats laying flat and foot rests, a bit of a luxury. Did you feel happy with the atmosphere, I think I would feel special. I will look forward to next week and the cruise ship. I hope you were also able to see a bit of Singapore, it’s supposed to be a beautiful mixture of styles. As always, Happy to hear you are well and it’s nice you were able to have a Mother-Daughter Trip, creating new shared memories.
