We had that trademark 10 years ago for a supplement company called “Gear”. Literally identical with a g and the teeth of a “gear”.

Sometimes it’s better for brands to not be what they actually do. For example, you don’t do Leila, you ARE Leila. Like Nike, Apple, or Uber.

Speaking from a way less richer person lol but someone who work in brand and branding a lot.

So ask another successful person like Marty Neumeier haha. It’s like the difference between direct marketing and brand, which is what Alex picked up on years later.

So it does make sense for you like direct marketing does for most. Whereas brand, a lot of people don’t understand it (yet) but it is more powerful than direct marketing.
