Worked in a pet shop, people kept coming coming in complaining that people were leaving dog crap in bags on the street… not our business. Like WTF

As a ex retail worker I’d add when the mum tells the child the man will tell you off.

Also.the checking out the back was a five minute chat with a colleague

If I know it’s not in stock I go out the back and stand there for some time to myself before the onslaught

I had to intervene when a customer was trying to pass everyone in the line and he didn’t listen. Almost dropped “you are racist” card on us but I just stopped the scanning and he ultimately left.
That time I was glad the ugly man bitch had some shame because many times the “customers” have the audacity to bully others.

shoes are the only thing we keep back stock of, oh and canning jars. otherwise if we have it in stock, it is on the floor!

As a former retail worker of 7 years, it is absolutely your business to help people find something in a certain color, pattern, size etc wth lol
