I went into business, I don’t live in the US I live in a third world country with a falling economy, I took the chance and now I employ more than 50 employees, I only did it because I wanted to be a fair employer and at first I wasn’t making any money because I was paying my employees the maximum that I can. In the beginning people discouraged me and told me that it will not work and you have to lower your wages in order to make any kind of profit, but I kept on doing the same and more people started working for me because I was paying them fairly until I actually made it and now my competitors started raising salaries to catch up, I am really happy because my employees are the reason I am were I am and now the business is big enough and stable enough to provide good income for me and all of employees.
